Because, at the Woodwards, we just realized it’s the week of Halloween. Nobody has costumes. No one has consumed any candy corn or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups..
Behold – our fun and sweet candy corn mantel.
In my mind, nothing is more quintessentially fall than pumpkins and mums.
So that’s exactly where I started when I put together our autumn porch. And with just a few fall decor touches from Lowe’s, our front feels perfectly suited to the changing of the seasons – and perfectly suited to welcome guests. It’s packed full of fall porch inspiration.
Who says that barn quilts have to be hung on a barn?
Not me.
I vote for indoor barn quilts all day long! Because then you get to enjoy it – even if you are barn-less. I’m loving my new DIY fall-inspired barn quilt and this year’s mantel decor. It’s extra cozy and full of seasonal color.
Living in the middle of nowhere has given me a renewed appreciation for the change of seasons. I can literally see it happening around me, and it’s awesome.
And while the fields and trees are changing, our home is getting fall-ready, too.
