How to organize and print your family photos

October 4, 2017 by Kim Woodward

Today, it’s easier than ever to take photos.

You snap photos on your phone at any moment. You upload your favorites to Facebook, Instagram and any number of online hubs. But while it may be easy to take and share these photos, they often languish on your phone, social media sites and your computer. They are gathering “digital dust” – never to be seen again.

It’s time to take control of the photo backlog.

DIY maple leaf barn quilt | Fall mantel inspiration

September 26, 2017 by Kim Woodward

Who says that barn quilts have to be hung on a barn?

Not me.

I vote for indoor barn quilts all day long! Because then you get to enjoy it – even if you are barn-less. I’m loving my new DIY fall-inspired barn quilt and this year’s mantel decor. It’s extra cozy and full of seasonal color.

Fall home tour | 2017

September 21, 2017 by Kim Woodward

Living in the middle of nowhere has given me a renewed appreciation for the change of seasons. I can literally see it happening around me, and it’s awesome.

And while the fields and trees are changing, our home is getting fall-ready, too.

How to organize a small closet on a budget

September 19, 2017 by Kim Woodward

I thought I’d swing back around to share how we organized the small closet in the baby’s room. I wanted to be sure we were able to get the maximum amount of storage in a tiny space.

When I say tiny, I mean TI-NY.

The closet is tucked into the eaves, which means we lose quite a bit of head room and much of the closet isn’t super easy to access. But that doesn’t stop us from making the most of the space – with plenty of extra space for all the gear that seems to be multiplying.

Things are looking a little more pink around our house lately.

Yep. We’ve getting our home and our hearts ready for the newest addition to our family … a little girl arriving in about 6 weeks.

Today, I’m sharing our very modern floral nursery.

Cleaning Well Water Stains in the Tub

September 12, 2017 by Kim Woodward

If there was a most-hated cleaning task list in my house, cleaning the shower would be near the top.

And the problem is made worse by the fact we have well water. And even with a water treatment system that works quite well, we get yellowed stains on sinks, tubs and toilets over time.

Here’s how I’ve tackled it. Bonus: It’s easy and cheap!
