There is an Arizona

April 13, 2010 by Kim Woodward

What was I thinking? You’ve probably been losing precious sleep over where in the world Ryan was when he took the photo in the last post. Shame on me. To leave you hanging like that. Many of you were right. Ryan has been spending his time north of the border in Canada (or Canadia, as […]

Where in the world is….

April 6, 2010 by Kim Woodward

Mr. NewlyWoodwards? (Anyone else singing the Carmen San Diego theme song right now?) Pretty, right? My husband took it. For the last couple of weeks, while I’ve been very swamped with catching up on The Office, avoiding laundry and eating out every night, Ryan’s been away galavanting in the mountains  working 6-12 hour days a […]

I (heart) Sarah Richardson

April 5, 2010 by Kim Woodward

We don’t have cable at the Woodwards, mostly because my hubby is cheap. But, it’s also because neither of us watch much television and the money would not be well-spent. Cable ain’t cheap, and we’d rather use that $60-$80/month another way. Or save it. Very novel. Anyhoo, mostly I don’t miss it. But, I miss HGTV. […]

She’s just big-boned

April 2, 2010 by Kim Woodward

I can’t use this excuse for the Lola-nator anymore.  We knew she was a bit of a chub-a-lub, but at the vet, we found out she’s gained 7 pounds in the past year. Holy porker. Sorry Lola, no more Beggin’ Strips for you. And no more stealing Franco’s food. Bummer for you.

You-musts

March 31, 2010 by Kim Woodward

You must: visit and then promptly DIE OVER this chicken palace (coop) at Heather Bullard. Oh dear Lord, this makes me want chicks. try out the yoyo pillows at Tatertots and Jello.  or, make these classy pleated pillows from Make it and Love it. consider where to put a light fixture made out of a bowl at […]

It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that spring

March 30, 2010 by Kim Woodward

Dearest spring. I’ve missed you. I was going to wait to post about my bulbs until they were bloomed. But, I cannot help it. I was so excited to see they were popping out of the ground, I definitely did a dance. (Although not a dance that caused a sprained ankle. Been there. Sprained that.) […]
