I can’t use this excuse for the Lola-nator anymore. We knew she was a bit of a chub-a-lub, but at the vet, we found out she’s gained 7 pounds in the past year.
Holy porker.
Sorry Lola, no more Beggin’ Strips for you. And no more stealing Franco’s food.
Bummer for you.

Aww, poor little pear-shaped Lola.
=]
Awww she looks at you with those soulful eyes and its hard to resist
Poor baby, keeping them on a diet is harder than keeping myself on one. I love to give them treats. Our vet said I could give Gertie carrots, they are low in doggie calories and she loves them.
Does she like ice cubes? Chester loves them and I feel happy I still give him a treat.
Poor Lola – diets suck!
Awwww…..we had the exact same vet discussion with Winter this week. In her old age she is packing on the pounds. The first night was so painful of her looking at her bowl and then looking at us as if to say “really?”. Poor Lola…she is just a hungry girl!
That like when we took our dogs to the vet a few months back. One of them we knew was going to weight more than we wanted to her.. but man she surprised us ha. We don’t even know how since they are on such a strict diet ha. Dogs will do whatever they can to get there food.
Poor little thing. We made our Pomeranian switch to the “weight control” version of her Eukanuba, and it helped a lot. I wish I had a “weight control” version of my food. 😉
Oh…how can you say no to that sweet face?
Poor girl! But, I think it’s a fine line. I took Putter in once and they said he was overweight and made me feel terrible. The next visit he lost like 3-5 lbs. and they told me he was underweight and looked at me like I was starving him! He’s got a self feeder, either way it’s HIS fault! 😉 We pet owners can’t win.
Dang. She’s still a cutie, though.
: )
poor baby girl… send her up to Minnesota and she can play catch with George all day!
Awwww Lola! Look at that face. It’s cleary saying “Please one more treat? I’ll start the diet tomorrow!”
