And don’t forget to check out the versions at my friends Meredith at Welcome to Heardmont and Liz at It’s Great to be Home.
I’ll show you mine first.
I kind of changed up my plan for the pouf, for the sake of my sanity. I had the pattern together for the BH&G version pouf, but I just didn’t have time to assemble it. So, when I spotted a simple and modern version of the pouf at Apartment Therapy next week, I decided to try that instead.
It’s really perfect because it can double as a doggie bed, which the pugs don’t currently have. And since they like to use the back couch cushions as their current dog beds, this is a vast improvement.
I used some decor fabric I had on hand. I’ve been thinking about bringing some blue into my life and I actually found the fabric at Reusable Usables, and it was dirt cheap because they charge by the pound.
I filled the pouf with four standard pillows, which filled it out pretty perfectly.
And that is my pouf.
HAVE FUN AND POUF ON!

How cool! I love it! 🙂
Well done. I like the nautical-y fabric. I like the square shape better than the more traditional I think.
Awesome awesome job on your pouf Kim! I love the modern look and it looks like a perfect doggie bed. Our pup has one of these in her future for sure. 🙂
I love your pouf! It is very beautiful and I love your fabric choice, too!

I love it and I am totally making one soon…my projects happened out of order and our baby came sooner than expected. (YAY!!!) So unfortunately, haha, the pouf will have to wait, but once again, I AM TOTALLY COPYING YOU! I LOVE IT!
My goodness – why did it never occur to me to re-use our old pillows as a pouf?! You are pure brillance! Gues what my next project is gonna have to be? a pouf using our old pillows!
The fact that you call this simple makes me laugh. It looks great! And I’m sure the dogs are loving it. My dogs would be all over that…but they’d probably end up sprawled half on/half off, which doesn’t sound very comfortable. 🙂
I really really LOVE the square pouf – a great twist! I had fun on this pouf-adventure with you gals! 🙂
What a great idea to make a square pouf. I love the fabric. Tell your dogs that my kitty is jealous!
It looks great! I can’t wait to see if anyone did a knit one so that I can steal all their tips and tricks!
