Well, if all else fails – follow a recipe on the outside of your Parmesan Cheese container.
This recipe was so simple. And, since I had all the ingredients on-hand, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try it. And, since you pre-make it, it would be perfect to make on a Sunday and eat later in the week.
It fed us for three days…. I ate it for lunch and dinner. It was yummy and filling and made lots of food.
Easy Italian Pasta Bake
1 lb. ground beef
3 cups penne pasta or rotini pasta, cooked, drained (use wheat penne)
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1/2 cut grated Parmesan and Romano Cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown meat in a large skillet, drain. Add pasta, sauce and half of the Parmesan and Romano cheese. Mix well.
Spoon into baking dish (13 x 9). Top with mozzarella cheese and remaining Parmesan and Romano cheese.
Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.
