Welcome home, Lucy

October 18, 2017 by Kim Woodward

Introducing our newest DIY. She’s really the sweetest.

Miss Lucille Rose arrived a little early, but she’s perfect and we are settling in at home quite nicely. (Spending lots of time in that pretty nursery.)

We are all pretty excited and in love.

Best-ever party sliders| Hawaiian rolls recipe

August 22, 2016 by Kim Woodward

Today, I’m letting you in on a little secret. While I love to entertain, I don’t really love to cook. Shhhhhh… But, I’ve started to find my groove, and a lot of this is by serving meals that can be prepared ahead of time so I’m not stuck in the kitchen all night. This isn’t […]

How to make a batch of mojitos for a crowd

July 21, 2016 by Kim Woodward

If you are like me, you have mint on your windowsill for one reason and one reason only. Say it with me … MOJITOS. I love myself a mojito, and they are pretty simple to make and enjoy. But since moving into the new house, we’ve been entertaining more than usual. (YAY!) With entertaining comes the […]

A space party for little astronauts (Henry’s 4th birthday)

June 6, 2016 by Kim Woodward

I am physically incapable of going low-key when planning a party. You know it. I know it. So when Henry started talking about an astronaut party in mid-February, I couldn’t NOT start planning and pinning and dreaming about a fun space-theme party. And I guess my version of low key isn’t actually low key. But it […]

Planning an astronaut space party

May 16, 2016 by Kim Woodward

Birthday party time has come again. Henry told me in February that he wanted an astronaut party. I have no idea where he gets his party theme enthusiasm. (Sarcasm.) It started with the astronaut costume. The costume was very likely the reason Henry wanted a space party. Who can argue? He and I staged a little […]

Sesame green beans

March 14, 2016 by Kim Woodward

Do you ever eat something at a restaurant and find yourself unable to get it out of your head? No? Just me? Well, this is one of those dishes. After eating the most delicious green beans in my entire life at a brunch bridal shower a few weeks ago, I set out to recreate the […]
