Breaking news: IT IS NOVEMBER!
I’m talking to you, blogosphere. You’d think that Thanksgiving no longer exists. And I get it. Sort of. You gotta start working on projects early.
But, I’m not willing to give up all the joy of fall. Including pumpkin spice lattes.
When my friend Sarah made homemade pumpkin spice lattes at craft night, they were so good that I knew I had to try them myself. They are seriously as good as the ones you buy in a fancy coffee shop. Plus, they are super simple and cheap to make! Perfect for a crowd or just for you.
I used the same recipe for last weekend’s house party and they were just as great as I remember. Plus, you can refrigerate and reheat for a few days, making it perfect for any day!
Crock Pot Pumpkin Spice Latte
Adapted from Urban Nester
8 tablespoons pumpkin puree
4 tablespoons vanilla
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 cups strongly brewed coffee
6 cups milk
8 tablespoons sugar
Whipped cream
- Combine milk and coffee and pour into the slow cooker. Whip together remaining ingredients – except the whipping cream – and pour into a crockpot. Mix together and use an immersion blender to get it mixed well
- Cover and cook in the slow cooker on high for 2 hours.
- Serve with whipped cream.

Jeez, thank you so much for posting this! I found the BEST recipe for an Iced Green Tea Latte. You should try it, it was easy! So delicious!
Fall is my favorite, so I try to hang on to it as long as I can and this looks deeeeeeeeelish!
This sounds amazing! If you don’t have an immersion blender, do you think a regular blender would work?
Possibly – but it could get messy. I’d probably start with a whisk and see where it gets you. I actually only used the immersion blender because a friend had one. I think the whisk would have been okay, but you may need to whisk it really good again before serving.
Yes. This. I’m clearing off the shelves in local grocery stores to stock up on pumpkin flavors before Christmas takes over.
OK, I’m not a big fan of PSL (I KNOW), but this does sound yummy!
I made a single version of this last year and it was so good! Love the idea of doing it in a crockpot – would be so perfect for post-Turkey Trot Thanksgiving day!
Does this mean I have to run to have the PSL? I may be able to make that happen.
I love the pumpkin spice lattes!! YUM. And I’ve moved right along to the Eggnog Lattes. Super tasty! 🙂
I don’t even drink coffee and I want some of this. It sounds so good!
It’s not incredibly coffee-like. It’s really delish.
By far this my favorite holiday drink!! Thank you so much for sharing the recipe!! Sounds perfect to make for parties 🙂
I bet this was a hit! I always forget that crockpots are a GREAT idea for drinks. My current drink addiction is Caramel Apple Spice. I NEEEEED to find a knock off recipe so bad. Starbucks is going to break the bank 🙂
Oooooo… now I want to find a recipe for that!
I’m sipping a pumpkin spice latte right now! Yes, I’m a fan of keeping fall going as long as possible. 🙂 Love the idea of using a crockpot for a party or gathering.
So do you have a recipe for Pepperming Mochas that could be made in a crockpot too? That would be awesome! Sounds great.
I would love this, but I haven’t tried this yet. May have to be my next trial. AFTER THANKSGIVING. 😉
Wait…it’s November already? Wasn’t it just August like two days ago? haha. Actually Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday- I love November. Although this November is going by WAY too fast for my liking! This recipe sounds delicious- I love that it’s in a crock pot!
This whole year has just flown by! I’m trying to make the most of every day.
YUM! I need to try this. I suppose it would work with almond milk or soy milk too? We don’t do regular milk in our house.
I find that almond milk works well as a substitute for anything milk/cream related- I love almond milk!! 🙂
this sounds like the perfect after thanksgiving dinner drink! i thought christmas was next week? 😉
