I’ve never made homemade lasagna before. Mostly because I’m lazy. And because Stauffer’s is much simpler. But, when I saw that I could easily make it in the slow cooker, I was game.
And this was a winner! Ryan even loved it and had seconds, which is uncommon for Ryan with pasta. It is extra meaty and had great flavor.
And did I mention it was simple?

  1. I’ll definitely be trying this! I’ve never made homemade lasagna for the exact same reasons you mentioned, and now I have two toddlers digging in everything, so that doesn’t make it easy to cook in general.

  3. I’ve made this! It is delicious. I like making lasagna the “traditional” way, but I can’t recall the last time I had time to do it. (Hello, motherhood.) So, this is for the win!

  8. YUM! I don’t use my crock pot enough. The crock pot will be great for you to use when the baby comes. Pin some recipes! It is really hard to cook a meal when there’s an infant/baby/toddler around. :s

  9. Sounds really yummy and similar to the recipe that I currently have. This sounds even easier though, so I like that. Her baked ziti sounds quite tasty too.

  10. I’ve just come around on lasagna, I’ll have to try this! Sounds like it would be a good thing to throw in the crockpot when my hands are a little full this summer and fall!

  11. I love lasagna. I made a ton of freezer meals a couple months ago and the lasagna was so easy to make. I basically set up an assembly line in my kitchen and it was really good. We had a freezer full of lasagna’s. Might work out great for you all for those nights you don’t want to cook when the baby is here. However I can’t wait to try this one out as well yum.
