A bean burger

July 6, 2012 by Kim Woodward

When I spotted this chipotle black bean burger on Iowa Girl Eats, I knew I had to try it. After my complete bean burger failure last year, I was a bit scared. But, Ryan and I love black beans, so I figured it was worth a try.

It helped that I had everything on-hand. (Love it when that happens.)

The verdict? Yummy! These are super easy and have great flavor due to the chipotle. I think I cooked them too hot, because they were a little soft in the center. But, they were quite good and definitely turned out better than the ones last year that turned out more like bean dip.

If you are looking for a unique vegetarian meal, this may be the one for you.

Check out the recipe at Iowa Girl Eats.

Will you try it?

This looks delicious, especially with a sandwich thin bun. How extra healthy of you!
