Happy Independence Day, friends! I am truly so thankful to live in the country we do. And so thankful for the men and women fighting to protect our freedom.
I spent the entire day with my family and my little firework. I may or may not have made us coordinating shirts. (Seriously. I love that Ryan wore his shirt without even rolling an eye. I really did spend a lot of time trying to make one he’d like – it says Red White and Blues with a guitar, btw.)
I love decorating for the Fourth because I’m Americana through and through. Don’t ever tell me that it’s going out of style because I simply will not believe you. And since I was very clever and planned a bit of a patriotic feel for Henry’s party, I have been able to keep up many of our birthday party decorations for the past month. Here’s a few glimpses, because I’m enjoying the so much.
(Check out last year’s decor for more.)
Hope you enjoyed a truly wonderful holiday with your family! We definitely did. Here are a few shots from our day.

I love the pennants in the living room. Adorable!
Totally unrelated, but is that hardiplank siding or another hardi-like material? If so, what color is it? I’m having a heck of a time choosing a color for our new siding.
You guys are so stinkin’ cute.
I love that even your stroller is red! HA
you were in geneseo! we live 7 minutes from there 🙂
So cute. Ryan is such a good sport!! I am not sure how that would go if I made Kevin a T-shirt. I think he would wear it and then put a shirt over it, lol, and pretend like that was normal.
Love all the pictures!!
I love all of your decorations! They look great! And your little family is so cute!
Love it all. You always do such a great job of decorating and celebrating! I always have good intentions, but often just don’t get around to it. I don’t know how you do it all.
You guys are so cute in your red shirts!
LOVE the shirts- I figured you made them. Awesome!! What kind of bike is Henry on in the last photo? Looks neat! Glad you had a happy 4th- we had a soggy wet 4th here in the south 🙂
So cute! xo Kristin
Love the picture of Ryan and Henry walking through the flags. He’s walking!!!
Glad you had a lovely day with your family. Rock on, America.
