If you are looking for a go-to snack for upcoming holiday parties, exchanges and work get-togethers, look no further.
These jalapeno pretzels are super yummy and quite simple. The recipe was given to me by my aunt and every time I make them, people go nuts. I’ve given the recipe to tons of people and I know it’s become a party staple. I didn’t take any pictures, but you can imagine a pretzel. That’s what it looks like.
Nick’s Pretzels
(I have no idea who Nick is.)
(via my Aunt Cathie.)
1 teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon fine black pepper
1 tablespoon of jalapeno seasoning (I get this from Hy-Vee)
2 bottles of Orville Redenbacher popcorn butter
2 packages dry Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix
3 lbs. mini pretzels (almost 3 bags)
Mix popcorn butter, ranch dressing mix and all spices together in a bowl. Mix together well and pour over the pretzels in a large roasting pan (I use a turkey roaster).
Bake at 200 degrees for 1 1/2 hours and stir mixture every twenty minutes to coat with liquid/spice mixture.
(This makes lots, but it keeps for several weeks if in a sealed container.)
They also travel well, and I made a huge batch to take to Tennessee for the holidays.
Happy eating!

These sound so yummy. I just can’t imagine where I am gonna find jalapeno seasoning where I live. Hmmm…. I’ve got to find some.

Um, yummy!!! Those sound delish! My mom makes something similar with oyster crackers but yours sound spicier and therefore yummier. 🙂

OMG! This sounds almost identical to a recipe that my great-aunt Eva used to make, although hers were with those mini Ritz crackers instead of pretzels. Yummy! I haven’t had this in years!

Kim… you know I’m lazy. However can I pin this recipe without a photo… quick insert a photo of lola or franco.
