This is a crazy week for us. Ryan’s traveling with work. So, Frankie and Lola and I are spending some QT (quality time) together.
Ryan slaved this weekend to put up board and batten wainscoting in the dining room. I should try to begin caulking and painting.
Here’s a sneak peek.
While I love it, what I don’t love – the way the dining and living rooms will look like until everything is painted.
Keepin’ it real, friends. Keepin’ it real.
Oh… and, I have a midterm on Thursday. I should study. So, painting may need to wait.
So, I may be short on material this week. Or maybe not. I cannot be certain.
But, I thought you may like to see a photo of my pretty mums on this gloomy Monday. (At least it’s gloomy here – is anyone else ready for a little sunshine?) These mums were my last to bloom. They are quite lovely and oh-so-fallish.(Sidenote: I’m thrilled that my new camera allows me to take shots close enough to capture the rain drops on the teensy little petals.)
What’s going on in your world?

Whose crazy idea was it to put up fall decor last week?
Please add the board & batten to Ryan’s long list of projects I want him to do for us b/c Mr. FC is slacking and pissing me off. OK, thanks. It looks gorgeous even unpainted!!!!
The pic of the mums is totally frame-worthy, K!
See Kimmy….you don’t need your daddy anymore!
It is going to look amazing! How fun.
Looking forward to the reveal!
Ooohh that is totally squell worthy! And mess worthy! Love it!
PS: Just a heads up, the template background image was removed from Flickr, so your background wall has an error code on it. 🙁 Mine too.
I can’t wait to see the room when it’s all done, it’s going to look great!!
Fun, can’t wait to see the final results. It will be fabulous!!
can’t wait to see the final results!
You went with board and batten! Yay! Can’t wait to see the finished product.
Work, work, and more work!
