A very Woodward Christmas (Kitchen)

December 15, 2011 by Kim Woodward

The final room in a Very Woodward Christmas is the kitchen.

Not a ton of decorations, but a fun little Christmas tree with cookie cutters, a potholder tree topper and my favorite bubble lights (circa 1970).

And our little Woodward snowman, made by my great aunt.

And even a little cheer on the back door. The apron was a gift from Ryan’s Aunt Joanell. It’s so cute.

And it wouldn’t be Christmas without paper whites, right? I started them a month or so ago.

And that’s Christmas at the Woodwards!

Do you dig it?

I LOVE your kitchen tree; the ornaments are so cute and the pot holder top is perfect! Now i’m hoping to snag a tiny tree after Xmas for next year 🙂

Love the snowman sitting on the scale!

Our paperwhites smelled so bad last year, there’s no way I’ll grown them again!

After spending a great deal of time on Pinterest this week, (who does that?), I’ve determined that I desperately need paperwhites by next Christmas. They look so wonderful, and I’m told, smell heavenly!

And your baby kitchen tree with the pot holder on top? Adorbs! Love it!

The decor looks so cute, I love the paper whites! I have some bulbs growing a vase in our garage! They’re finally starting to grow, so I’ll bring them inside soon

Your aunt is a talented woman! She should sell those snowmen on etsy (is she doesn’t already)!

I love that you open with “not a ton of decorations.” HA!!! There’s more in that one little corner of your kitchen than in my whole house! Santa should give you a medal for your Christmas spirit!

I have 1 nativity scene, 1 wreath and a stocking that my aunt knit for the baby. That’s it. I am totally lame at Christmas decorating, though I like to call it “minimalism” to justify it.

Oh my goodness, that chubby little snowman is quite possibly the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I love him! And I love that he’s sitting on a scale and looks like he’s chuckling to himself about whatever number it says 😉
