True colors

June 21, 2011 by Kim Woodward

Between painting trim and studying for two separate exams this week (not to mention the normal work day), I’m stretched to the limit right now. So I really shouldn’t even be here, talking to you.

But, it’s just these chairs. I adore them. I keep thinking about them. Around a table at a party. In the backyard during a BBQ.

I feel like having rainbow chairs could only serve to make life a little brighter. They may just help me forget about off-white paint and accounting principles.

What do you think?

When you decide to paint those chairs give me a jingle….that would be SOOOOO fun!! It sorta makes you wonder why folding chairs don’t just come this way. It should just be THE WAY. 😉

So much fun! They would add instant pizazz to any event and look pretty easy to DIY. Hope you are surviving this week!

I can see why you love those chairs so much. They’re so bright and cheery. I wonder where you can get them from. Good luck with your studies.

they are super happy looking 🙂

Good luck with everything. I swear, you need to do a Day in The Life of Kim blog, because I mentally cannot comprehend how you can do so much.

I couldn’t agree more. They are so wonderful. You need them. I need them. Everyone needs them. That’s right. I said NEED.

Those are so fun. I like just looking at the picture. I wonder if they were bought like that or painted?

Dude, as soon as I pinned that picture, I immediately went to craigslist and searched for metal folding chairs. I was *really* hoping for a deal to show up so I could spend my weekend spraypainting candy colored chairs, but um, the only ones on there were 9 bucks each. Yeah, no thanks. Call me when they’re 3 bucks.

    Good luck on your exams!

I despise painting trim. Actually, I’ve never done it before, which means I’m scared to start, which means I’ve been here for 6 weeks and still haven’t finished painting the trim!

Those chairs are the coolest folding chairs I’ve ever seen. Why don’t they all come in Skittles colors?

Good luck with everything that you have going on, Kim! Perhaps we bloggers should all officially take June off…for some reason every June is a slow blogging month for me!

I feel like having Rainbow Chairs is pretty much a necessity – up there with air, food and water for living. And I’m not being facetious. (PS – did you know that Facetious is one of only two words in the english language that has all of the vowels in order…even “y” if you go with Facetiously? There’s something for you to ponder when procrastinating studying. Love – Your Random English Major Blog Friend Emily).

So cute! I’m looking to spray paint our new (to us) metal patio furniture and I think a color or two from this photo would work perfectly!

Good luck with your trim and school work!!
