Three random updates from our world …

If you don’t follow us on Instagram, you may not know that Henry and I have been adventuring the Phoenix area for nearly two weeks to visit my parents. (I’ll share more about the trip next week.) We left the warm and sunny weather to head back to the Midwest today. Sad to leave the sunshine and sandals. Very happy to see Ryan.

Speaking of Ryan, he’s been staying pretty darn busy at home. He has started installing lights in the main level of the barn. He also finished the stairs on the barn and the upstairs windows. (We also ordered the garage door, so the barn will be closed up just in time for our Midwest winter.)

While we were in Arizona, we put up my mom’s Christmas decorations – including her village and two trees. It officially got me in the spirit and I refuse to feel bad about this happening before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is just so late this year. I’m itching to get my decor up at home ASAP. Especially since we will be out of town for Thanksgiving. (As a side note – this is one of the photos I took when I was at my parents. It was super blurry and I love how the lights turned out.)
Appreciation to my father who told me concerning this webpage, this weblog is
genuinely amazing.
The barn is looking great!
We’re having people over the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I started decorating with Christmas stuff this weekend… I don’t feel bad. I’m not a fan of Thanksgiving decor.
Such a busy girl! Hope AZ was as amazing as instagram portrayed it! 😉 And oh the barn! Can’t wait for more updates!
When Jesse and I had the big when to start decorating debate I used the Thanksgiving is so late this year argument too. I won. Decorations go up this weekend! 🙂
I am really loving the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems?
A number of my blog audience have complained about my site not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.
Do you have any tips to help fix this problem?
I’ve been loving your travel pics on instagram! Part of me wishes we were traveling for Thanksgiving, so I’d have an excuse to skip it and move on to Christmas decorating 🙂
Ryan has made a ton of progress on the barn! Wow! You left AZ just in time. It’s supposed to be rainy and gray all weekend, starting tomorrow. The state is sad to see you leave!
Ohhhh, I am so jealous that you have been enjoying the warm weather and sunshine! I am sure it will be nice to get back home!
I am totally itching to decorate for Christmas. I am headed to look at decor on my lunch break, and I may even put some things out this weekend!
I hear ya! I want to start decorating too! Glad you had a great trip! xo Kristin
Love that last pic- the lights did turn out neat!! And wow, your barn is coming along really nicely. How do you two fit everything in? I am impressed at all the things you get done!!
I refused to decorate before Thanksgiving, no matter how late it is…but the day after, it’s ON 🙂
The barn!!! Lights!!!! I’m so excited for that barn!!! You guys are the coolest.
I’m glad you had a great time in Phoenix. Let all the Christmas decor begin!
Yep… I totally decorated early 🙂
Eeeek! The barn! Love it.
And I’m totally in the Christmas Spirit, too, but making myself honor the turkey (which I don’t even like) and holding off until Next Friday to actually put stuff out. B put up the first level of lights on our house and Thomas tells Nell everytime we pull into our driveway, “See our Christmas lights Nell? Mama says we can turn them on in December”. He suckers me into early Christmas every year!
yay! fun! the barn is looking awesome and i can’t wait to decorate either!
Wow so much progress on the barn!
