First off, for those who have been asking about Papa Bear, he’s doing well. Still in the hospital, but we’re hoping not for long. He was up and walking within a day and every day has been a huge improvement. He should be home in a day or two. Prayer works. We have lots to be thankful for this Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas.
Remember the tree topper I made a few weeks ago?
Well, I thought it was time to share the tree it now resides on. I brought some of my ornaments and tree decor to my aunt’s house this year. We were really pleased with it.
It includes my favorite large silver and red ornaments and our pew bows from the wedding. I think it looks so sparkly. My mom and I had our tree-decorating skills down by this point.
What do you think?

So glad to hear about your dad! I hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday with him and all your family.
The tree looks super. You are welcome to come do mine next year.
I really love the tulle wrapped around it… It makes it look so ethereal. I may have to borrow that idea for next year!
I LOVE the topper, and that tree belongs in a magazine.
I think it’s b-e-a-utiful!! So bright and glowing. The red/white/silver theme is perfect, and I really like the tulle (?) you wrapped around it.
Also, glad to hear your dad is doing well! Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas. 🙂
Your tree is gorgeous! I wish I could come to your house and take tree decorating lessons. And lessons on everything else you do so well!
OOoo—very pretty and sparkly! I love the beautiful tulle around the tree too. Great job!
the tree is beautiful! Glad to hear your dad is doing well!
I love all things sparkily, so of course I think it is divine!

I love it! When are you coming to VA to help with my tree?
So, soo glad to hear your Dad is doing well. It’s AWESOME that he’s been able to get up and do some walking, I know that’s tough after heart surgery!
Kim its beautiful!
You certainly do have your tree decorating skills down – it’s gorgeous! Your aunt is a lucky lady to be the beneficiary of such awesomeness! (P.S. So glad your dad is doing so well!!)
