How to make giant paper flowers

February 20, 2018 by Kim Woodward

I don’t care what that silly groundhog says … spring is coming.

I’ve been slowly adjusting our home from winter to spring – and I’m excited to be sharing a fun tutorial to make simple giant paper flowers for your spring home. These are great for this time of year, but they also make a beautiful statement all year – for nurseries, bedrooms, playrooms and PARTIES.

Tips to prepare for holiday entertaining

December 19, 2017 by Kim Woodward

Get your home ready for the holidays

Will you be entertaining this Christmas?

We host lunch at our home on Christmas Day, which has become one of my most favorite traditions – especially since having kids. We can open gifts at home and then welcome both sets of grandparents and other family members. It’s wonderful.

So as we approach the holidays, I’m all about preparing. Because the more I prepare ahead of time, the better everything runs, the less stressed I feel, and the more I can enjoy the holiday.

How to make a batch of mojitos for a crowd

July 21, 2016 by Kim Woodward

If you are like me, you have mint on your windowsill for one reason and one reason only. Say it with me … MOJITOS. I love myself a mojito, and they are pretty simple to make and enjoy. But since moving into the new house, we’ve been entertaining more than usual. (YAY!) With entertaining comes the […]

How to make DIY space slime (with only four ingredients)

June 8, 2016 by Kim Woodward

On Monday, I mentioned the DIY space slime we made for Henry’s space birthday party. It was great for kids to play with and it made a fun favor that the kids might actually use at home. (Especially with those rad space placemats.) This is a craft that Henry and I have been making all winter […]

A space party for little astronauts (Henry’s 4th birthday)

June 6, 2016 by Kim Woodward

I am physically incapable of going low-key when planning a party. You know it. I know it. So when Henry started talking about an astronaut party in mid-February, I couldn’t NOT start planning and pinning and dreaming about a fun space-theme party. And I guess my version of low key isn’t actually low key. But it […]

Constellation party details with Sharpie

May 31, 2016 by Kim Woodward

Henry’s party was on Saturday and this year it was all things space. I will be sharing more details from the party later this week, but one of my favorite details was creating simple constellations into the party decor – especially this fun and easy constellation table cloth for the food table. This was so […]
