Casserole carrier

August 30, 2013 by Kim Woodward

I wanted to bring a little something for my buddy Shannon when I visited her last weekend. She had mentioned that she liked the casserole carriers I make, so I whipped one up the night before I left.

Not recommended, by the way. I probably should have been packing.

But, it turned out really cute – using navy check and hot pink. I actually had both of these fabrics on-hand, and they are just perfectly Shannon.

Casserole carriers really are one of my favorite gifts to give. They are so cute and also really practical. At least in the Midwest, where potlucks are king.Casserole carrier2

And I don’t know about you, but I think everyone should have a cute carrier for their casserole. So, whip one up before your Labor Day picnic. You can thank me later.

Wishing you a fabulous Labor Day weekend!

I love this! What a great idea! I could use one. So handy for potlucks. I love that you used such great fabrics too. I bet she just loved it. I am a master of proCRAFTinaation as well. Crafting instead of packing. Totally something I would have done 🙂
