Another pennant quilt finished and gifted. I really love these types of quilts and simply cannot stop making them.

I think this type of quilt is perfect for nurseries – just a great, whimsical vibe with lots of patterns and colors. This type of quilt also comes together quickly and makes good use of my fabric remnants.
This quilt was a gift for my high school friend April, who just had her first baby girl. I Facebook stalked her husband’s page and found that the nursery was being done in purple and yellow. So I used those colors with a bit of grey.
I got it in the mail more than a week before baby arrived, which I consider a success. (I’m such a procrastinator.)
What do you think?

You are one talented chick. Bet your friend loved it and will cherish it always.
My brother advisable I would probably similar to this weblog. This individual had been entirely proper. That organize definitely built my own evening. You simply can’t believe merely precisely how so much time period I had put together spent with this information! Many thanks!
I say it everytime, but I love these quilts. Also, what do you do with all your quilts (that you keep)? Display them, or keep them folded up for extra layers or play space? All of the above?
Thanks, Emily! Most all of the quilts go to new homes. I have four for Henry in his room – they are in different areas of the house. One on the back of the rocking chair. One in the crib. One on the twin bed. One downstairs for snuggling or playing.
I have a few others I have started to keep for myself in the
I think it looks adorable and I’m sure they will cherish it!
Oh and darling baby quilt!! Sorry I didn’t get that in the last post :/
I’m just about to pull the trigger on buying a sewing machine that will also do upholstery fabric. Do you have a recommendation on sewing machines? Thanks.
I have a brother, but I just don’t have much experience with other machines. I believe strongly in finding a great local sewing shop and going there in person. My local shop is the bomb.
These quilts are fabulous- I love that each one you make is different. I bet they are fun to make, especially in different color combinations each time 🙂
This looks great, I bet she loved it!
