Fall outdoor decor

October 3, 2013 by Kim Woodward

My love for pumpkins carried into my porch decor in full force. I couldn’t stop myself from loading up on those pretty pumpkins when I spotted them at the Farmer’s Market last week. Especially the heirloom varieties in grey and lighter orange. This led me into a full porch-decorating frenzy.

I ended up with a pumpkin patch of my own. (Henry is OBSESSED with the pumpkins and the tiny gourds in the lanterns, which is hilariously cute.)

I also believe I may have a chalkboard problem. And by problem, I mean that I want them everywhere. So, that’s not a problem, right?

I picked up 5 huge mums at a local nursery. Only two have blooms so far, but I have a few plans to show off the others soon, too.Outside Front Porch Fall Red2

My menu board is getting the attention she deserves.

My ferns, unfortunately, are not loving life. They have a hard time surviving when I neglect them so much. But, I’ll still keep them up a while longer.

And that is my outdoor decor. I have a few more projects up my sleeve, but I’m happy with how welcoming it looks as-is.

I’m linking up again to the It’s Fall Y’all linkup. Check out other great outdoor inspiration today.

I wanted to fill the area outside my door with pumpkins as well. Only there is no space and the pumpkins here are insanely expensive since the base ships them in :/ Yours look awesome!

Is the rug a new addition to the porch as well? I really love it out there! It totally grounds all the festive decor. It makes it feel like a proper room outside! Man do I wish I had a covered porch…
