My college roommate Ali visited this weekend, which was loads of fun. We don’t get to see each other very often and since I’m inept at talking on the phone, our bi-annual visits are a fun catchup time for us. And since Ali is a neonatal nurse, I was able to get lots of good baby info. We also got some good laughs about the crazy names that she sees at the hospital.
Ali was perfectly content with hanging out on the couch watching Neflix. Which is good, because that’s my most refined skill nowadays. We also did some shopping, saw The Lorax (which is so cute) and did some crafting.
She also made this mama-to-be homemade biscuits and gravy.
What? Your house guests don’t make you breakfast? You ought to get better house guests. Franco and Lola agree. They are our little sous-chefs.
Overall, a marvelous weekend had by all.

Glad you had a good weekend! And I love your belly! I had a good weekend, low key (lots of sleeping) but still productive. Pretty much a perfect weekend in my book. Oh and my friend who I threw the hungry caterpillar show for had her baby!

Ugh… I hate talking on the phone. My phone gets terrible service in my house and I just get so frustrated. Plus, I really need to be able to see someone’s face when I have a conversation.

College friends are the best! I usually only get to see my best friend annually because she’s in Florida and I’m in VA, but we Skype a lot because we both have a hard time focusing on the phone lol

As for names I worked with children at one of my jobs and the best name I came across was Abcde. Yep not kidding so feel free to throw that in your name mix. ha
