In case you don’t follow us on Instagram or Facebook (cough, cough: why not?), I’m so excited to be a new member of the Silhouette Design Team.
What does that mean? Basically, I’ll be coming up with new projects on my Silhouette throughout the year and I’ll be sharing them over on the Silhouette Blog three or four times each month.
The other women who are part of this team are AHHHHHmazing. I mean, seriously. You can check out the team’s Pinterest board to really get the scoop on their projects. The fact that the folks at Silhouette thought that I would be a good fit with all of that talent is such an honor.
I’M FREAKING OUT, YOU GUYS.
I’ve already started plotted and planning projects to share. I’m especially looking forward to trying my hand at cutting fabric and fabric ink. If you have any ideas for projects you think I should tackle, I’d love to hear them!
Here are a few of my past Silhouette projects, in case this post wasn’t full of enough patting myself on the back. (There’s never enough patting of backs.)

Hi, There’s no doubt that your site could be having web browser compatibility issues.
When I take a look at your web site in Safari, it looks fine however,
if opening in I.E., it’s got some overlapping issues.
I merely wanted to give you a quick heads up! Aside from that, fantastic blog!
So cool! You’ve had some awesome projects. I have a Cricut but it seems like you hear way more about Silhouettes in the blogosphere!
Congratulations! Your new gig makes perfect sense to me. 😉
Shut uuuuuup! Why are you the coolest person I know?!
Congratulations Kim. This is awesome news. I love the designs you have come up with already. I can’t wait to see what else you do 🙂

Congratulations! Martha Stewart has a new(ish) product that decoupages fabric to fabric! – and I think you can come up with a million ways to do something there!
Mmmm…. I’m intrigued. Off to Michaels!
Congrats! That is so awesome Kim! Way to go! 🙂
Why are you freaking out? You’re awesome and they know it. WE ALL KNOW IT. 😉 xoxo
You, my friend, are such an encouragement.
That is so awesome! Congrats! Love my silhouette. I mostly use it for wall vinyl
I can’t believe how simple it makes cutting vinyl. I love it!
Congrats!! Can’t wait to see all your projects! Nick is actually the silhouette guru over here, but one day I will use it on my own!
Big congrats my friend!!
Thank you!
i saw them pin it last nigh and was waiting for you to announce!!!! WOOT! you are a silhouette superstar, that is what you are.
I’m currently doing a very embarrassing excited dance.
Congrats, girl!
I’m telling you what, I’ve got to get on this Silhouette train! Maybe it’s time to start hinting to the hubs since my birthday is coming up…
I find that leaving subtle notes all around the house work well. And by subtle, I mean things like “I DESERVE A SILHOUETTE.” and “DON’T YOU LOVE ME?”
congrats!!! 🙂
I completely agree with Rachel! You definitely earned your spot and I’m so excited to see what you come up with! I’m excited for you, friend.
Thanks! You are always such an encouragement to me.
Congratulations! Can’t wait to see more ideas from you! My mom got one for Christmas, and I’ve already been over using it a few times to make things for baby shower gifts. Now I’m hoping to use it for some of my wedding decor!
It’s really addicting.
Congrats Kim! And you’re awesome–I think you’re the only person surprised to see yourself included on the team! 🙂
Thanks, Rachel! It was really a huge surprise to me. So, now I just gotta get working.
Congrats dude!!! You’re an awesome fit. Can’t wait to see these projects!
Thanks, Buddy.
Can you believe I have never used one of those?!! xo Kristin
I think you need one. I mean, clearly you don’t have anything else going on.
