Although, I got a good start. Emily and I went to a card making class at a local scrapbooking store. We both walked out 1 1/2 hours later with 8 handmade cards. Here they are:



This is all I’ve done so far. But, it’s a start.

    If buying peppermint bark @ Whole Foods and eating it all in one sitting last week counts as prepping for Christmas…..then heck yes, I’m ready.

  3. a little sad that halloween hasnt even come & gone yet, but yes. we started thinking about gifts for family and also the need to take our christmas pics soon since it takes like 3 weeks for kodakgallery.com to ship to guam :-/

  4. I dont even want to think of christmas. I know it is right around the corner and will be here before we know it, but I am not ready for it anytime soon.

    Your cards are wonderful – my fav is the red reindeer.

  8. Girl, I bought fabric for Christmas placemats and a wall hanging in May. Granted I haven’t started making them yet.

    But I have been trying to figure out how many projects I can realistically make this year. I would like to make bed quilts for my parents and in-laws, a lap quilt for my grandparents at the very least. But that probably will mean listening to all of our book club books on tape.
