I smell a succulent weekend

March 13, 2009 by Kim Woodward

How have I lived 24 years of my life without knowing about succulents?

Nesting Place’s post made me want succulents, something bad. They are so cute.

And, how much do I love those white pots she put them in? Adorable. What makes them better? They are supposed to survive better in dry (*cough* not watering for many days *cough*) conditions.
Adding cute pots and succulents to my weekend to-dos.
That, and painting my hutch black.
Check out The Rauth’s black hutch.

My inspiration. Cross your fingers that ours looks half as good when Sunday night rolls around.
That is all. Happy weekend!

i am so tickled you grabbed our hutch as inspiration! i have not been commenting lately (blog tells why) and just finished quickly wiping things down…now turning off the brain…so tickled! thank you! and your hutch looks great! the filling part is the hard part. right now ours is full of glassware on top and white on bottom. i’d switch but i didn’t like how it looked. the beauty of a hutch? it grows with you. nice work and thanks again for the shout out!

Aren’t they cute?! Or you can get the ones from Target that are fake but look so life-like, that your other half might water them by accident 🙂

I saw that picture to and love it, of course. My problem is I don’t have any succulents or cute white ironstone laying around. Hmmm…
