The final speedy handmade gift is this mason jar candle. My friend Rebecca and I made these last month and they ended up being pretty simple (but very messy). We gave them to coworkers and other friends.
We used small mason jars for the vessel (although you could use anything). Rebecca picked up the wax at Ben Franklin and I had some essential oils from green cleaning supplies. We used cinnamon and peppermint for ours.

I love gifts you can make it bulk. Thanks for sharing.
I need to start making more gifts! Love the candles! 🙂
Great idea! I bet the peppermint one smells amazing!
I always love the idea of making candles, but the melted wax is SO darn messy! There’s got to be a candle-making method that avoids getting wax everywhere! Probably not, but a girl can dream, right?
These look great! I bet they made great office gifts!
I will get on this homemade gift bandwagon next year!! Cute idea!
That’s a great gift idea! And I’ll bet it smells amazing. Merry Christmas to you and Mr. NW, Kim!
These look great! I always love putting tea lights in mason jars, but a full candle would be even better!
Great gift idea, and very pretty too! 🙂
Love that! This would make a great gift anytime of year! Thanks, Kim!
