Garden Progress, mid-June edition

June 15, 2009 by Kim Woodward

Everything seems to be growing well. Weeding is turning into a big job, even with a smaller garden. But, I’ve been keeping up. The recent rains seem to have helped all the plants.

The mini pumpkins (in the back) are going crazy. I’m hoping to grow them in the tomato cage. Snap peas are growing up the fence, as are cucumbers. Peppers are all growing well.
Lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower are ginormous. Tomatoes are also insanely large. I have been trying to keep the tomatoes under control by pinching the growth, but they keep getting bigger.
Here’s a closer shot of the tomatoes, and strawberries below them.

Lots of buds, and even a few small tomatoes popping in.
Cauliflower is getting bigger and bigger.
How’s your garden growing?

Wow! Your garden looks amazing! Good job! We didn’t do a garden this year. But we did remove the bushes so we could possibly have a garden next year! ;o)

Looks fabulous – have you harvested anything yet? My vegetable garden failed big time – but my flower garden is thriving.
