Flower pot house numbers

May 10, 2010 by Kim Woodward

I’ve been wanting to make these fun flower pots since I spotted them at Evangeline’s Vine last June. I was inspired.

While it would have been simple to do it then, I waited for a year. That’s how a roll.

But, I finally got around to it. Just simple spray painting and some vinyl decals, and voila! I didn’t have enough room for the “No.” pot, but I like it anyhow.

The lanterns were scooped up at IKEA on my ridiculous shopping spree. Don’t they look great?

Now, I know what my address is. (And, the entire Internet apparently. Call before you drop by, okay?)

Is anyone else inspired to get to painting?

I already knew your house number from my daily stalking drive-bys.

I looooove this idea but I doubt I could have pulled it off as flawlessly as you did, my friend.

I need to stop coming over here, it just makes me feel inafequate. At least I’ll still have my daily stalking to look forward to.

I love these! I don’t have enough horizontal space to do this so I am thinking of doing the vertical planters in planters with the house numbers. {It was posted in “bloggie land” over the past couple of weeks.} I love your pots!

The flowerpots are great Kim! The touches of red against the gray are SOO pretty. I saw somewhere in the blog universe “house number” pillows on a front porch. Do you think it would be overkill if I did both….’CAUSE I LOVE YOUR IDEA!!!

Love the little pots. I am too paranoid to post my address on my blog with little pots, but that’s a cute idea. Your curb appeal is through the roof my dear! And yes, I was totally eyeing those lanterns at IKEA, but unfortunately I ran out of room in my suitcase. 🙁

Um, I love this. You would do something this fabulous and beautiful. And the lanterns are wonderful, too. I have 1 year and 3 months until I live 30 minutes from an IKEA. Can’t flipping wait.

Other people’s ideas are the best, aren’t they? And red lanterns at Ikea, you say? Hmmm, this may call for a trip there. Your house looks magazine-y right now, loooove it.
