I’ve been wanting to make these fun flower pots since I spotted them at Evangeline’s Vine last June. I was inspired.
While it would have been simple to do it then, I waited for a year. That’s how a roll.
But, I finally got around to it. Just simple spray painting and some vinyl decals, and voila! I didn’t have enough room for the “No.” pot, but I like it anyhow.
The lanterns were scooped up at IKEA on my ridiculous shopping spree. Don’t they look great?
Now, I know what my address is. (And, the entire Internet apparently. Call before you drop by, okay?)
Is anyone else inspired to get to painting?

I real thankful to obtain this website on bing, what I became looking
for : D too saved to bookmarks.
I already knew your house number from my daily stalking drive-bys.
I looooove this idea but I doubt I could have pulled it off as flawlessly as you did, my friend.
I need to stop coming over here, it just makes me feel inafequate. At least I’ll still have my daily stalking to look forward to.
too cute!
I love that idea… I wonder if I can make room for those somewhere out front.. I have a TINY patio… hum…
BTW I got a good laugh.. my MIL’s address is 42226 🙂
Love this….and the red. Seeing all your Ikea finds is making me think we may need a side trip in Minnesota…..hmmmm.
I could not believe how cute this looked on your porch. Oh, that neighborhood is gonna miss you!
These turned out so so pretty! What a cute idea. -Laura
I MUST DO THIS!! Wonderful!
This is so freaking cute! More importantly, it looks easy enough that I could do it! 🙂
I LOVE IT!
That looks great! 🙂
Great job! They look just right sitting there outside your house. They are truly adorable.
So fun! I was just thinking how I wanted to replace our house number and get flower pots for the front steps. Perfect! Where did you get the numbers?
Love that idea!
Adorable. Love the your choice of red – but then I LOVE red!
I wish I could be painting. It’s been cold, winding and rainy for a week. My painting to-do-list is growing daily!
This is freakin’ cute! Love it.
I NEED bots like this…too bad my house sits a mile off the road. But I could still enjoy them right
So cute and I love the red! Your mailbox is very cute as well.
How cute! I have been thinking of using vinyl numbers on our door for our house number. (Notice the thinking of, hmm maybe it will take me a year as well??) Thanks for the inspiration!
I love these! I don’t have enough horizontal space to do this so I am thinking of doing the vertical planters in planters with the house numbers. {It was posted in “bloggie land” over the past couple of weeks.} I love your pots!
so cute!
Adorable!
I love that! Such a great idea.
The flowerpots are great Kim! The touches of red against the gray are SOO pretty. I saw somewhere in the blog universe “house number” pillows on a front porch. Do you think it would be overkill if I did both….’CAUSE I LOVE YOUR IDEA!!!
love the pots and the lanterns! super cute!
So incredibly cute and charming! The lanterns are the perfect touch.
I totally love the pots, and may steal the idea for sure… XOXO!
Love the little pots. I am too paranoid to post my address on my blog with little pots, but that’s a cute idea. Your curb appeal is through the roof my dear! And yes, I was totally eyeing those lanterns at IKEA, but unfortunately I ran out of room in my suitcase. 🙁
SO CUTE!!! I’m totally swiping this idea. Someday.
awwww…adorable! I would of never thought of this idea! And the laterns were worth the shopping spree!
I am totally mapquesting you right now. 😉 😉 Kidding!!!
I love your take on this project! The red pots are fab, and I like the IKEA lanterns too. 🙂
What a unique and adorable idea! Yours turned out so cute. 🙂
What a great idea! I love the colors you choose!

So cute! I love the pops of red.
Um, I love this. You would do something this fabulous and beautiful. And the lanterns are wonderful, too. I have 1 year and 3 months until I live 30 minutes from an IKEA. Can’t flipping wait.
Other people’s ideas are the best, aren’t they? And red lanterns at Ikea, you say? Hmmm, this may call for a trip there. Your house looks magazine-y right now, loooove it.
