Everything’s coming up… TULIPS!

April 14, 2010 by Kim Woodward

They haven’t quite come up the way I expected (in rainbow colors), but I’m so excited about all the tulips and daffodils along the fence.

Ryan told me today that they look like they have always been there. Like they were meant to be tehre. Just a perfect place for 100 or so tulips, don’t you think?

Now, I cannot wait to get some annuals in those pots. And the window boxes. And the hanging baskets. And add mulch to the flower beds.

Just about 100 more things on the garden to-do list. Send me some energy. 😉

Oh My! Your hubby is right – tulips are just meant to be growing infront of your adorable fence. I just love how bright and cheerful the blooms look against the white pickets. It’s so lovely.

I’m sending you all my extra energy your way for this weekend, if you promise to send it my way next weekend. The garden chores are stacking up and it’s not even offically planting season yet!

Hi 🙂 So so pretty!! I planted some tulips several years ago and now just the pink ones are coming up sporadically. Weird. Your gardening plans sound wonderful.

I love them. It feels so vintage 1950s.

Are you in the kitchen with a full skirt and pearls on? Cause I’m totally picturing that right now.

So jealous! They look beautiful – I’ve planted tulips a few times but our squirrels always eat the bulb just as they start popping out of the ground…
