Almost famous

April 5, 2009 by Kim Woodward

Kinda funny and random news – Ryan and I made the local newspaper today – in a small story about beginner gardeners. We certainly fit the bill – beginners may be an overstatement.

Check out the article here.

I am a little miffed that the experts don’t have much faith in my ability to start seeds indoors. Didn’t anyone tell them that I can do anything I set my mind to? Maybe their mommas didn’t tell him that like mine did (thanks, mom)! 😉
(PS – My favorite part – the journalist calling me contagiously optimistic. That’s such a wonderful compliment.)
Okay… my flagrant self-promotion is over…
Wait…. no it isn’t. You pretty much get that everyday, don’t you?

Great photo! You look so cute with your garden gloves on. I just went to our local nursery this weekend to get some supplies. We are about to start our own indoor seeds and I just got the hubs an indoor lemon tree.
