We started a new tradition this year with Henry. Handpainted Easter eggs – and they are made from wooden eggs so we can keep them.
I take exactly zero credit for this idea – my friend Julia at Cuckoo4Design shared it last year. The eggs her kiddos made inspired me to try it with Henry.
I only planned to make one, but Henry knew we had four of them and was ever the tormented artist. He simply had to paint them all. He couldn’t bear to keep this talent locked inside. Nor could he bear to wear any clothes.
Just make sure to write your child’s name and age on the bottom.
Happy Easter, friends. I’ve declared that all candy is calorie free this weekend, so get to it.
