Today’s a beautiful day for homemade holiday gifts!
I already love the gifts made by my co-hosts:
(Vintage mug planters via Primitive and Proper, Winter knit infinity scarf via NewlyWoodwards, Simple pajama pants via Maybe Matilda , Good dog treat jar via Decor and the Dog )
Before you head over to link up your projects, I first need to share my knit infinity scarf I made for a gift. I feel like a scarf is a wonderful gift for any woman on your Christmas list. I picked up this Fair Isle-style knit after last Christmas for a buck a yard. I love the pattern and that it’s black and white – meaning it can really be worn with anything.
If you want a tutorial, check out this one at Decor and the Dog. This can be a super quick project if you aren’t engrossed in an episode of Bones. Instead of flannel, I used knit. And I also made my version a lot bigger, to allow it to be doubled. The knit on this is very thick and lies really nicely.
And here’s how it looks on. I totally made one for myself, too. But I promise, one is also a gift.
These were so easy, I think I could whip up another dozen.
Who wants to be on my nice list?

I gotta do this before winter is over! And, p.s. Thanks a bazillion for your sweet comment on my post today, Kim. You are such a dear friend to me and a wonderful momma to Henry. Thank you so much. You always say the perfect thing to make me feel good!

I wish that we were friends so that you had to give me a christmas gift each year. You wouldn’t receive much from me in return, but you’re cool with one-sided relationships, right??

Yep. I love this. I totally ordered one from you guys the other day. A plaid one. I CAN’T WAIT!

I love infinity scarves, I think finding a knit fabric and making one sounds like such a better idea than knitting one – which I always just assumed was the only option! Well done, love the print!
