This is a beautiful post. Well done Kim!

Once again, Kim, you have inspired me.
Here is what I believe in:
• the talents, skills, support and intelligence of my husband
• the joy of being a grandparent
• writing things down (post-its have saved the day many times)
• spell check
• creative time to stamp, scrapbook, take photos, and update my blog
• learning, whether for an advanced degree, planning a garden or learning to knit
• saving instead of spending (most of the time)
• the fun of finding another stash of unpacked goodies in our garage
• the Minnesota Vikings – 2009 was a great season even if we didn’t get to the Super Bowl
• the calming effect of a cup of hot tea with cream
• the value of a smile
• the love of a pet
• the need for quiet time
• the need for girl-time even when you’re almost fifty
I used some of yours because they are lovely and worth repeating.

You are too cute.
Good luck with those Bears 😉
The rest of it I completely agree with!
Totally kidding about the Bears, btw. They’ll win again. After all, they can make up for their terrible season with their first round draft pick! Oh…wait…that goes to Denver…
Seriously – I love you. I’m kidding.
Jenny @ Anything Pretty says
What a good post! Again we are so much alike it is scary as I could have written all of these (well except for the bears). I also would add something about homegrown food tasting better (or something like that…I need to come up with better wording)

I believe in my children, for sure! I absolutely love the pic of my grand-pugs looking out the window. Did they think that Grandma was out there to take them for a walk? What a wonderful way to start my day by reading your post today Kimmy. Thank you! I love you with all my heart!

I believe in hot cocoa and warm blankets on snowy days. And pretty much everything else on your list… only I grew up in Wisconsin, so we are football rivals. 🙂
Ally says
Sorry–
Da Bears didn’t make my list :0)
