Easter is less than 2 weeks away and we are officially in full egg-decorating, Bunny-welcoming, spring-loving mode at the Woodwards. You’ve gotta start early to pack it all in, am I right?
Last week, we shared our colorful spring kitchen and dining room. Today, I’m sharing our simple mantel and living room. They provide the perfect springtime feel – with plenty of whimsical touches.

We live in the country, and bunnies are already popping up everywhere. We love to spot them out our windows. So the little bunny garland is such a cute touch. (Picked up last year in the Target Dollar Spot.)
And the galvanized hanging planter is filled with faux greens and flowers. I picked up the drooping succulents locally at Designs on the Blvd. and the realistic faux peonies on Amazon.
The chocolate bunnies only LOOK edible. They are faux-chocolate and I picked them up last year locally at Urban Farmhouse. It’s good I can’t eat them, because I’ve already eaten my weight in Reese’s eggs.
STOP JUDGING ME.
The every bunny welcome sign is also a local find from last year – I got locally at Katsch.
I wanted to add a few more plants to our home this year, and I spotted this one on clearance at the grocery store. It looks cute in a color blocked Target basket on the mantel.
Here’s a little peek at the mantel in our light and bright living room.
I even added some color with pillows, that I picked up at Target. (The pink pillow was swiped from Lucy’s nursery. She understands.)
It’s really amazing how just a few accessories can make a room feel completely different for spring. I didn’t even change out any wall art.
That’s what I love about seasonal decorating! It makes me less likely to want to make huge changes in a room.
