What’s more dashing for a new little man than a onesie with a tie?
Nothing, I’m sure.
I recently made a few tie onesies (and a burp cloth) for gifts for friends. The first up – a gift for a new baby. I love the checked blue fabric on the red onsie. I also included a burp cloth that coordinates. (I added the tie over the top with flocked heat transfer material.)
The second version is for our friend August, who just turned one. I sewed on a tie in the same checked fabric. Then, I added “one” in white flocked heat transfer.
I love using the fabric interfacing from Silhouette.
You simply iron the interfacing onto the wrong side of the fabric. Then, you run the fabric (right side up) through your Silhouette on a sticky mat.
I have so many fun plans for future projects with fabric. No more tedious cutting for me.
What do you think of my dashing little creations?

Tie onesies are always a good choice. Gingham tie ones are just plain over the top awesome.

love this- it’s adorable! i feel like it’s akin to a mullet- business in the front, party in the back! or maybe business at the top, potty at the bottom?
