I can’t believe I never shared this semi-homemade project on the blog.
I happened to come across this photo from the bridal shower my mom and I threw in May, and wanted to share it because this can make a special, personalized gift for a bride-to-be, a great cook in your life, or a new homeowner.
A personalized store-bought apron.
I planned to make an apron for the shower, and then came across this adorable, flirty number at a kitchen store in Phoenix for half off.
I made it extra special with the bride’s monogram and a spatula design from the Silhouette store. I used smooth black heat transfer, which gives a professional finish.
I love making store-bought items extra awesome with monograms and personalization.
What’s your favorite semi-homemade gift idea?

Personalized gifts rock. I also love it when an apron is flirty. If you apron can’t be flirty, well… then there is just no point… right 🙂

My friend gave me an apron she personalized for me for Christmas one year (she painted a bird on it), and I love it. Pretty + functional is my favorite 🙂

I pretty much love any gift that you can personalize and play off like I made it.
