Maybe everyone already know this.
But, I didn’t until Henry’s party when I was frequently lost in the depths of Pinterest.
YOU CAN PRINT ON BROWN PAPER BAGS.
Honestly. Mind. Blown.
I honestly didn’t think it was going to work. Because I’m optimistic that way. So I didn’t take any pictures of the process.
But I basically followed the instructions from This Swell Life.
- I actually designed the Corny Cornpicker logo in the Silhouette studio and then used a screen shot to get it into Word.
- Once my design was done, I adjusted the size of the print area to 6×10 inches. (If you use a different size bag, just change the dimensions in page layout.)
- Then, I tested it by running the bag through the inkjet printer with the back flap taped down. (For some odd reason, I ended up having to rotate the design to get it to work right. I think it just depends on your printer.)
Bing. Bang. Boom.
I cannot even tell you how much joy these bags brought me. (I also can’t even tell you how much printer ink I used. Too. Much.)
Since I have about 500 bags leftover, I think i’ll be printing more in the future. Such a cute and simple way to bring your paper bags to the next level.
Am I the only person who cares about bringing paper bags to the next level?
