I’ve seen these coasters everywhere, but I figured I’d share how mine turned out. I originally found the idea from Life on Grace. I thought, how simple! So, I made some cute coasters for Christmas gifts. I just used an initial stamp with regular ink. Then, I sealed it with spray clear sealer. Simple. Useful.
I got these tiles from Lowe’s, but I recently spotted them at ReSTORE for only 7 cents/tile. THAT IS CHEAP, friends.
So, I picked some up for us, too.
(Just use a square of black felt on the back. This will save your tables.)
Do you use coasters?

I have been wanting to try this and love how yours came out…especially the simplicity of the initials. The red bow is the perfect touch as well. We use coasters all the time so this should be moving to the top of the crafty list.

Yes I use costers… the boy, on the other hand, tends to move them out of the way in order to set a drink down. *sigh*

BRILLIANT!! Filing this away in my to-do crafts list.
You know, for when you come visit & I’ll ply you w/ wine to do crafts w/ me. The more wine consumed, the more “creative” our crafts can progressively get. It’ll be fuuuuuun.

I have had this project on my craft list for a long time and haven’t yet done it. I will have to check out our Re-Store to see if I can score a deal, too. It is the perfect project for me as I insist on using coasters. (That and table cloths or placemats.)

I love this idea… my mind is wondering already thinking of my favorite sayings, etc. I wonder if I could place photos or newspaper on them then seal it? Mrs. Kim you rock!

I love this gift idea. I don’t use coasters personally, we’re wash and wear and I don’t care about water rings. But I also don’t own nice furniture – so that might have something to do with it!

I made these as the favors for my wedding. We had a custom stamp made up with a bride and groom, wedding date, in our wedding colors. Everyone loved these and still uses them to this day!
