You seem to be getting to everyone. I’ve noticed it. All the world is begging for a tulip, a blade of green grass, a little sunshine and warmth.
But, don’t think you are getting to me. No siree, bob. Do I want more snow? No, I most certainly do not. But, since this is something I cannot control (yet), I’ve decided to direct my attention elsewhere.
I pulled out some Easter decorations and picked up some $3 springtime flowers at the grocery store.
So, how do you like that, master of the ice? Keeper of the snow? Lover of the freeze?
(silence)
That’s what I thought.
XOXO-
Kim

you probably don’t want to hear that the daffodils are starting to bloom down there, do you?? but we pay for it when it still hits 90 in OCTOBER!

I love that you put a nest on a candle stick for some great height. Even these photos make me feel springyer.

I am craving easter like no other. And I never have before. Maybe its because we’re expecting another foot of snow tomorrow and it makes me want to cry. But you’ve got the right idea here missy.
I was in PB the other day and their easter tablescapes are ridiculously cute. I wanted to buy everything until I realized I’m cheap.

I’m with you on this one! I don’t really have Easter decor, but a fresh vase of flowers could just do the trick. 🙂

Holding up a virtual finger to winter right along with you. Only I’m not decorated for spring – decorating takes effort, I don’t believe in effort.

So funny. We just got 8 inches of snow… and while it’s pretty, I certainly wouldn’t mind a few days of sunshine + 60+ degree temperatures.
Love the cute nests and whatnot… am totally tempted to get mine out now!

Maybe all I need to get out of the winter blues is some springyness like this. You have totally inspired me.
I have been trying to think positive thoughts about spring projects hoping that would help. I actually could not sleep last night because I had all these ideas flying around about how to rearrange our deck. But then all that happiness was gone when I looked out this morning and there was more snow. Oh well.

That’s so cute, I love the decorations. I need to find some new plants to put on my patio so it feels like spring!!

Dear Kim,
You probably don’t want to hear about the weekend of sunshine we just enjoyed in the pacific northwest. Or my crocus and mini daffodils that are blooming.
Nevermind that its grey and rainy today and will continue the next few days. Next weekends forcast has sunshine again. Maye its time for you to take a vacation?
I love your tablescape. I hope you enjoy it until the sun comes to visit you and the snow melts away.
🙂
