I have lots of herbs on my deck and Ryan and I can only drink so many mojitos, eat so much pizza and make so much salsa. So, I’ve been on the lookout for other uses. I found this “recipe” in Women’s Day magazine and decided to try it.
Summer Potpourri
Lemon balm leaves
Lemon thyme leaves
Rose geranium leaves
Slivers or orange and lemon peel
Daffodil or rose petals
Plus 10 drops of lemon essential oil
Store the mixture in a lidded container for two to four weeks to infuse, stirring periodically. Display in a wide glass bowl; add dried citrus slices.
It’s still soaking, but I’ll let you know how it turns out.

Sounds great! Can’t wait to hear how it comes out! My mom used to have one of those potpourri burners that sat on the stove… smelled soooo good!
