I put twelve trees up in our house this year.
But, to be fair. Some are small. Some are sets of three. Not all have ornaments. Some are not even traditional “trees.”
I mean, I’m not nuts.
Or, I guess it depends on who you ask.

1. Traditional – Living Room Christmas Tree
It’s so cute. The ornaments and tulle are from our wedding. The tree was from Ryan’s folks. Ryan has a sentimental attachment to it (don’t tell him I told you) cause it was the tree they had as a kid.
I was really feeling inspired to do something more with the topper. I’m not a fan of stars or most toppers, so I normally don’t do anything. But, when I saw G&Ds tree last week, I felt inspired to do something more. So, I did a little more today. Here it is…
2. Fun – Dining Room tree
This is one of the white trees from our wedding reception. It has some of our famous pew bows and a variety of fun, funky red ornaments.
3. Sports – Chicago Bears tree
I skirted it with the quilt that I made for Ryan a few years ago. I love the Bears Santa hat and fun ornaments.
4, 5 and 6. North Woods – these three trees are on our landing upstairs.
They are thin and tall, which is perfect for the space. All of our sentimental ornaments are on it, because keeping them on the downstairs trees would be fatal because of Franco-access. They are skirted by extra fabric from the curtains and flanked by our altar arrangements from our wedding.

7, 8 and 9 Pretty, pretty trees
These were my mom’s trees and I was always obsessed with them. She let me use them this year and they look so nice in the extra bedroom.
10. The non-tree
Another item given to us by my mom. I love this tree. It lights up and has old house character of the screen door. I think someone could make this if they had the motivation.
11 and 12. The red tree and wooden tree – living room arrangement
I just had to count them, since they are indeed trees. The red tree was an impulse buy that I still think is adorable. The wooden tree was made by my grandparents. Do you see the “Woodward” letters in the snowman. A custom for our wedding. I love that little guy.
So, weigh in. What’s your favorite tree?
Plus, I wanna see your trees….. I’m tagging you all!

I love your idea of having 1 tree for sentimental ornaments. I totally get not wanting animals to destroy them. We had to leave the bottom few branches empty to keep the cat from thinking it was his personal play toy.

Awww they are all so beautiful!
