So, interest-free financing is great. Exceptional, really.
We got an exceptional deal, really – by the time you factor in sale prices, free delivery and 12 months no payments, no interest.
But… now it’s time to pay off that bill. And – let’s face it – it’s painful to write a big check. I wrote it this morning. It took 10 minutes… first I debated whether I should write a check or do it online (check), then I messed up the amount (check #2), then I had to double check the amount three or four times (didn’t want to be off and get charged interest), then I went searching for a stamp (+$.41).
Now, the check is off in the mail. And, the appliances that have been keeping our food cold (except for this little snapoo), warming our food up and washing our dishes for a year are officially ours. And, I also figured out that we saved about $293 in interest (if we wouldn’t have paid it off) and made several hundred dollars in interest by keeping the money in our checking.
