With Christmas just around the corner, many moms are in the homestretch of holiday gift acquisition. If you are anything like me, you have been picking up gifts for a while.
Making lists and checking them twice, so to speak.
Hm. That sounds like someone else I know.
As a part of my gig with the Quad City Moms Blog, I helped plan a mom’s night out earlier this month. The goal was to allow moms a night away from the stress of the holidays to be pampered, unwind and have fun.
I love coming up with ideas for gifts that guests can take home. Because we had a hot cocoa and coffee bar at this event, we went with clear glass mugs for all the moms.
Then, it was my turn to customize them and make them unique and fun.
I created these mugs with a little gold vinyl and my Silhouette machine. I cut all the vinyl and applied with painters tape.
These glass mugs are the perfect everyday mug for this momma.
And I’ve been loving to drink my morning cup of coffee (or three) with a touch of International Delight seasonal coffee creamers – the Peppermint Mocha and Sugar Cookie are my two favorites.
This is the perfect kickstart to a mom’s day – a little caffeine and a dash of holiday spirit.
This little message – mom>santa – is intended to remind moms that they are totally winning the ultimate battle of Christmas. Moms really are better than Santa.
Because while Santa is hanging out at the North Pole, moms are baking cookies, sending Christmas cards, hosting holiday parties, decking the halls, and helping their kids make their Christmas lists.
All those memories we make with our families – they are the real gifts of Christmas.
And while you may say it isn’t a competition. It totally is.
And moms are winning.
Pick up your Silk, Dunkin’ Donuts or International Delight seasonal coffee creamers at Target today. (I know you are already going there a few times a week like me.) The products are also 5 percent off with the Cartwheel app through Dec. 24.
