We have been doing tons of Easter crafting over here.
Part of this is because my kid is OBSESSED with Easter eggs. I mean, we’re going to be eating egg salad for the rest of our lives. I finally had to go buy some faux eggs at the craft store because they last longer.
And now, we’re branching into bunnies. Last week at our monthly craft night, I started a few paper projects – including this cute little bunny canvas.
Isn’t it sweet? I cut two bunnies out of scrapbook paper with my Silhouette and attached them to a flat canvas with Mod Podge
After drying, I cut some eggs with the Silhouette using double sided adhesive and Henry and I glittered the eggs. (The double sided adhesive is basically paper glue. So you can cut specific shapes to glitter. I love it.)
Finally, Henry pasted some cotton balls on the behinds. We finally agreed that each bunny only needed one cotton tail. It was a pretty stern negotiation. My toddler wanted multiple tails.
It’s a perfect addition for Easter!

It’s nothing new, I saw tons of similar artwork on Pinterest. But I think it’s pretty sweet.

This is adorable!! I am going to do a version of this with my day care munchkins. I think we can stamp the eggs with pastel paints and cookie cutter shapes and glitter. A kid done project with a lifetime of seasonal display. Thanks for sharing your idea!!
