I truly love to entertain, and particularly when I’m perked to do it. Have you heard of House Party?
Essentially, House Party allows you to apply to host parties in your home on behalf of brands. (You do not have to be a blogger to host a House Party.) There are lots of opportunities and I was recently chosen to host an HP Warm Up Your Walls House Party. I hosted six friends last weekend to kick start the holidays and craft.
House Party sent us these awesome photo booth props. I love the chalkboard speech bubbles.
Here are my three photo pieces I had the opportunity to print for the party. The canvas is my favorite and will be on our mantel soon for the holidays. (All of these were 1-hour items from Wal-Mart photo and are going to be my go-to gift this year.)
And here are a few other photos of my fabulous friends and guests. They are such good sports. I think they were cool with taking this photo because they all got fun swag bags and a chance to win free HP photo projects.
In addition to hanging out and chatting, we also crafted a super simple holiday card display with clothes pins. We decorated the clothes pins and then used twine to display (faux) holiday cards. I think it’s a fun and simple way to display all those cards we’ll begin to receive.
Our favorite was the glittered clothespins.
I also used Sharpies for a few.
And scrapbook paper with Mod Podge.
Thanks to House Party and HP for sponsoring the party. And thanks to my friends for always being up for a celebration!
(I was not asked to write about my experience, but was chosen to host a Warm Up Your Walls House Party and sent a fun party pack to do so. You can also apply to host parties in your own home on HouseParty.com.)

Useful info. Fortunate enough my family I discovered your web site unintentionally, that i’m dismayed the reason the following twist of fate couldn’t happened in advance! My partner and i book marked the item.

What?!? That’s awesome. ps. how do you feel having black accents/furniture in your dining room with the brown shades? I just spray painted our chandelier oil rubbed bronze, whichhh pretty much looks black, and it’s driving me crazy next to the brown bamboo shades. Of course it doesn’t bother me in your pictures!
