Pinterest can lie. We all know it.
But, this time, Pinterest rocked it. I was wrapping a gift for Henry’s awesome daycare provider and remembered a pin about making a DIY bow. A little scrap of Kraft paper, some scissors and tape. And bam.
I’m not going to recreate the tutorial because you can check out the steps here at Simply Julie. Quick and simple. I wasn’t sure if it would work with this type of wrapping, but it worked perfectly.
This is perfect for your holiday gifts. Cheap, simple and great-looking.
We’ll call this the first official holiday post at NewlyWoodwards.

That’s really cute! I tend to look at pinterest, shove the ideas way back in my brain and then forget about them…I need to remember them!

I always want to put effort into the packaging, but never do. Maybe this year, I’ll get a head start. Love this bow.

Love the simplicity of using butcher paper. I usually stamp mine for the holidays, but you can use stickers, paint markers or crayons. Love your bow.
