It wasn’t too long ago that I shared my dream kitchen ideas. Today, I’m back with another dream kitchen.
What can I say? I have lots of dreams!
This time, I am blogging along with a fabulous group of women. We are 6 bloggers building an IKEA dream home.
We all are designing one space in a home with all IKEA products. When I was asked to be part of this, I immediately jumped on-board.
I was chosen for the kitchen space in a random drawing. Since I’ve actually used IKEA cabinetry, countertops and sink from IKEA. And while I love what I chose, I decided to go a different direction for this dream space.
I lurve the new LIDINGÖ grey cabinetry in the IKEA kitchen collection. So, I started with that and built from there. I’m sort of loving this space!

What I love: The gray cabinetry is unique but also classic. I love our butcher block countertops, so I went with that again. And I’m really digging the new graphic rugs – it brings a nice pop of color. I ended up choosing a patio set (which is a steal of a deal), which I think looks perfectly at home in the kitchen. I think this entire space looks pulled together and also comfortable. Who wouldn’t want to spend time here?

AHH! Get out of my head! I was just talking with my bestie yesterday about them getting gray cabinets and a butcher block countertop. My only change would be white cabinets on top, but keep the gray on the bottom. But I’m mildly obsessed with two-tone cabinets.
Dude.. that table and chair set is for the outdoors? I love it. Great pick!

love it! I love those gray cabinets, and I love how it’s mostly all gray and white and black with just a few pops of color. great idea to use the outdoor table in the kitchen, too–looks great in there 🙂

The rug is awesome! We had a similar one in our living room (that I stenciled) but we swapped it for another one because it was constantly looking dirty. And those cabinets are my fave (we’ve had them for a couple of years here in Spain already and they always look fabulous in store).

White on rugs is always a struggle! We had to toss a red and white rug in the kitchen that I loved but that always looked horribly dirty.
