After all that talk about needing a moment yesterday, you probably think I am wallowing in self-pity.
Um. Not so much.
I’m really not much of a wallower to begin with. Plus, I’m sort of floating on air after finding out I was the winner of the Wilsonart Dream Kitchen Challenge.
WHAT THE WHAT?
If you missed it the first time, you can all see the details of my entry to the challenge in the original post.
I don’t mean to rub it in (okay, I do). This means I won $1,000 to use toward Wilsonart HD Countertops or other kitchen projects.
UM, HELLO?
I’m seriously dead right now.
The other entries were seriously amazing – here are a few I especially liked:
Thanks for the opportunity, Wilsonart!
You can follow Wilsonart on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. But only do it if you have a towel handy to mop up all that drool. Too much pretty to handle.

We’ve had a lot of family commitments over the past few years that aren’t really a good time for us because we don’t get anything out of it, while the family seems to get free babysitting from us. I am stressed leading up to the event, while at the event, and then afterward. I finally told Alan that I don’t need to be at every single family gathering, and while he’s having a hard time coming to grips with it, I think saying “no” to these things is helping us enjoy our summer more. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
