It’s nearly Easter, and I just barely got my act together to put up and share my Easter decorations.
What the wha?
How could you have lived without seeing my holiday decor? You couldn’t have. That’s the answer.
I had an idea for a few Easter banners for the house and I wanted to bring some eggs into the mix. Easter eggs. So I started cutting paper Easter eggs on my Silhouette.
I got a start on them last week, and then my blog buddy Cindy (The Flipping Couple) came into town to visit Michelle (Decor and the Dog) and I. I knew that these would be a fun craft to work on while drinking sangria and eating food cooked by Michelle and Nate. (Mostly Nate. Although Michelle makes a mean donut.)
But before we could get to crafts, we needed to do the more important things – eating and shopping.
I love these girls so much. We had such a great time and laughed pretty much all weekend. In case you don’t follow me on Instagram (why not?), here’s some snapshots from our weekend of fun.
Anyhoo, once shopping and eating was done, I put my craft slaves friends to work. You should all totally get craft slaves friends like mine. After some cutting and pasting, we had some super cute Easter egg banners. Here’s my banner on the mantel. Good thing I have exactly 7 days to enjoy our hard work.
I love how it turned out.
They are made from scrapbook paper and Kraft paper. I strung them with twine.

I had a few extra eggs that I strung onto the fence.
Then, for good measure, I added another quick banner to the dining room hutch.
What do you think?

So cute! I’m kinda super jealous of you girls for getting to hang and shop and craft (and eat!) like that. Sounds like SO much fun. You know what I did for easter decorating this year? Precisely nothing. Not one thing.

I think I have lice.
Love your banner. My eggs are still just eggs. Maybe I’ll give them to the nieces and nephew. A peace offering after my dog humps them.
