Dare to DIY: give handmade

It’s time for the third week of Dare to DIY! I loved seeing your entertaining projects last week and I’m super psyched to see those gifts.

In case you don’t remember, I’m cohosting with Decor and the Dog, Maybe Matilda and Two Twenty One.

This week, it’s Dare to… give handmade!
DIY a gift made by you. Nothing is more special to give than something you created, so share projects that will be go in brown paper packages this holiday season. Ideas include bath and body items, kitchen gifts, hand-sewn clothing or home decor.
I posted my handmade gift on Friday - dish towels using fabric scraps.

The projects by my co-hosts were also awesome this week. Did you see them?

Now, it’s time to share your projects!

You can link up on any of our four blogs listed above. Link up as many projects as you wish, as long as the posts correspond with the theme of the week. The linky below will stay live through Wednesday. This Thursday, each of us will spotlight at least 3 projects we loved from the week on our blogs. We’ll also pin those projects on our shared Pinterest board.

The only rules:
1. Please follow the Dare to DIY theme of the week (this week is Dare to give handmade).
2. Please link back to Dare to DIY on one of our blogs.
3. Please go to at least one other blog and comment. This is a party. So get to know a few other bloggers.

Okay, it’s time for the party. Can’t wait to see your projects!

Comments

  1. Thanks for hosting again! I love all of the ideas you ladies have put together and can’t wait to see what everyone else is going to post!

  2. Thank you again for hosting!
I am so excited to see what this week holds!

  3. Thanks for hosting! I’ve had so much fun with this series. Thanks for the comment on my lady bug quilt. It was very sweet. I really like the fabrics you chose for your towels. I’ve done that before with burp cloths, but now I’m going to try towels for some teacher gifts. Thanks!

  4. My pic didn’t work, could you possibly delete my entry #48 so I could retry?

  5. Thanks for hosting Kim! Your towels are pretty, and they make such a lovely gift =)

  6. Thanks for hosting, Kim! I am loving your towels–such a a great, simple and fun gift idea! If only my sewing machine still worked…

  7. Your towels would make a great gift for so many on my list. It would be easy to customize these according to each person’s taste.

    Thanks for hosting the party!

  8. So many faboo ideas, Kim!

  9. Oh wow – lots of fun projects here! I love that “state”ment necklace. Haha.

  10. I love all the items with your last name! Being newlyweds, we’re having fun accessorizing with our monogram, too :)
